What Parents Need to Know This Back-to-School Season: California State PTA Shares Six Key Tips for All Parents

Welcome tO Crestview Elementary's pta

PTA Membership

The PTA plays an important role at Crestview Elementary.  With the money raised by our students and families, we are able to fund field trip buses, CATS Academy,  book fairs, and many other enriching and educational programs and activities throughout the year.

To join, simply click on Join the PTA Now , or fill out a PTA membership envelope, available in the office, and enclose a check or cash for $6 per person. Members are not obligated to attend meetings or volunteer. Membership dues are $6 per person per year.

Crestview participates in the Simi Town Center's Shop Smart program which rewards local elementary schools with gift card prizes from $250-$2,500. It's easy to use the program!  Just bring any receipts from stores at the Simi Town Center from September 1 through April 30 to guests services, at the mall (located in center court). You can also bring your receipts to the Crestview office; we will take them to the mall for you. Crestview receives five points for every dollar spent.

Another way to help Crestview earn points is to sign up for Shop Smart email. Log onto shopping and select Simi Valley Town Center to register. Crestview receives 1,000 points for each email.

We also participate in Box Tops for Education, you can bring your Box Tops to the Crestview office. Thank you!

Executive Board Positions

Board members are elected annually. Vacant board positions are filled throughout the year. If you are interested in holding a board position or chairing an event, we'd love to hear from you! Please call Crestview's PTA at 805.520.6715.

Executive Board Meetings

If you would like to attend and are not on the executive board, a guest seat may be granted. Please contact Dawn Patrikian, Crestview's current PTA President, in advance. Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of the month.

Bank of America
Supports Schools

Do you work for Bank of America? If so, you can easily help Crestview earn money for the students. For every 50 hours of donated time, Bank of America will donate $250 to Crestview. For every 100 hours, the company will donate $500. What qualifies as donated time? Anything you do to support the school - helping the teacher, copying papers, being part of a school committee, etc. All you have to do is document the hours. If you would like more information, please contact PTA member Heather Vazquez @
